Rainbow of Blues is your first taste of The Highest Order, the lead single from their forthcoming full length. Paul Mortimer, Kyle Porter Simone Schmidt and Simone TB came together in early 2012 immediately after touring as bandmates in $100 to play some of their favourite tunes. Pretty soon Schmidt and Mortimer started hashing out some arrangements culled from their respective songbooks and within months hit the studio. Rainbow of Blues harkens back to days spent turning and tuning the FM dial. A classic jam of infinite twang and fuzz with melancholy for miles. The Crying Game needs no introduction and The Highest nail it here with Simone’s live off the floor vocal take doing the classic more than justice. Two killer sides.
